The FPSO Cargo & Mooring Master holds technical authority for all cargo transfer, ballasting, and mooring operations on the FPSO. As one of the most specialized senior maritime roles, this position requires STCW Master Mariner certification, deep FPSO mooring expertise, and the ability to manage complex tandem offloading and shuttle tanker operations safely in all sea states.

Cargo & Offloading Operations
- Manage all crude oil loading, cargo transfer, and tanker offloading operations.
- Plan and execute offloading to shuttle tankers including approach, connection, and disconnection.
- Monitor FPSO cargo levels, ballast management, and stability throughout all operations.
- Ensure all cargo operations comply with OCIMF, ISGOTT, and operator standards.
Mooring Systems Management
- Supervise all mooring line maintenance, inspection, and replacement activities.
- Manage turret, SPM, or spread mooring systems as applicable to the FPSO configuration.
- Monitor mooring loads, tensions, and system integrity using online monitoring tools.
- Develop and maintain mooring system emergency procedures.
Marine Safety & Compliance
- Conduct pre-offloading risk assessments and SIMOPS reviews.
- Ensure all cargo and mooring personnel maintain current STCW and FPSO certifications.
- Coordinate with the Vessel Master on all maritime regulatory compliance matters.
