Job Description

The FPSO Maintenance Supervisor leads the onboard maintenance team, ensuring all mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems are maintained to the highest standards of reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance. This senior leadership role drives the planned maintenance system, manages inspection activities, and interfaces with the OIM and Operations Engineer on all maintenance-critical decisions.

Responsibilities

Maintenance Leadership & Planning

  • Lead a team of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation technicians.
  • Implement and manage the planned maintenance system (CMMS: SAP PM or Maximo).
  • Develop short- and long-term maintenance plans, turnaround schedules, and shutdowns.
  • Manage maintenance budget, resource allocation, and third-party contractor performance.

Inspection & Integrity Management

  • Oversee hull, structural, and pressure vessel inspections per API 510, API 570, and API 653.
  • Manage statutory inspection programs (DNV, Bureau Veritas, Lloyd's Register).
  • Coordinate and review inspection reports, defect close-out, and integrity risk registers.

HSE & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure all maintenance activities are executed under the PTW system with full LOTO compliance.
  • Participate in FPSO audits, safety cases, and ISM Code compliance reviews.
  • Drive a proactive maintenance safety culture through toolbox talks and behavioral audits.
Requirements
  • BSc or MSc in Mechanical, Marine, or Maintenance Engineering.
  • OPITO FPSO Certificate (mandatory).
  • CMRP (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional) certification.
  • API 510, API 570, and API 653 inspection codes knowledge (mandatory).
  • Minimum 10 years of FPSO or offshore maintenance experience with at least 4 years as Supervisor.
  • Deep knowledge of planned maintenance systems and reliability engineering principles.
