Job Description
A Human Resource Officer is a bridge that connects workforce needs with employer requirements. They act as mediators between employees and their organizations. A Human Resources (HR) Officer is responsible for managing every aspect of the employment process, including orientation and training new staff members. They also assist with payroll management, so employees receive their paychecks on time.
Responsibilities
- Recruiting new staff
- Making sure that staff get paid correctly and on time
- Managing pensions and benefits administration
- Organizing staff training
- Advising line managers and other employees on employment law and the employer's own employment policies and procedures
- Advising on disciplinary and employee performance problems
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor business administration or equivalent education
- Age: 24+
- At least 1-3 years experience
- Must be able to quickly apply learning new application tools independently
- Good communication skills in word and writing; be proficient in Dutch and English
- Speaks and writes clearly and effectively; listens to others, correctly interprets messages from others and responds appropriately
- Knowing how to deal with confidential information
- Open to learning new methods/styles that can contribute to better work performance and personal development
