Job Description

As an IT Associate, you play a vital role in supporting and maintaining the information technology systems within our organization. You collaborate with the IT team to provide technical solutions, resolve issues, and ensure the smooth operation of IT-related processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the maintenance and management of hardware, software, and network components.
  • Provide technical support to employees for IT-related inquiries and issues.
  • Install, configure, and update software and operating systems on desktops and laptops.
  • Manage user accounts, access rights, and security settings.
  • Monitor system and network performance, taking proactive measures to prevent issues.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems, ranging from software errors to hardware failures.
  • Contribute to IT projects, including the implementation of new systems and software upgrades.
  • Assist in data backup procedures and data recovery to ensure data integrity.
  • Train employees on the use of new software or technologies.
  • Document IT processes, issues, and solutions for future reference.


Requirements

  • Work Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of professional experience in IT support or a related field.
  • Age: 22 years or older.
  • Availability: Monday to Friday, from 08:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
  • Education: Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Basic knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS) and office productivity software.
    • Familiarity with network principles and security protocols is an advantage.
    • Experience with IT support, internships, or related projects is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and technical insight to address IT challenges.
    • Effective communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical staff.
    • Interest in emerging technologies and a willingness to learn new skills.
    • Organizational skills to manage IT tasks and track issues efficiently.
    • Team player capable of collaborating effectively within the IT team and across departments.
    • Attentive listener with a proactive approach to assisting others.
