Job Description

The Marketing Worker is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote the company’s products or services. This role involves creating content, coordinating marketing campaigns, conducting market research, and analyzing data to enhance brand awareness and drive sales. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, creativity, and a basic understanding of marketing principles.

Responsibilities

1. Campaign Coordination:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, social media, etc.).
  • Coordinate promotional activities, events, and trade shows.

2. Content Creation:

  • Create and edit marketing content, including blog posts, social media updates, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers to develop visual content.

3. Market Research:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
  • Gather and analyze data to inform marketing strategies and campaigns.

4. Digital Marketing:

  • Assist in managing social media accounts and creating engaging content.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns (e.g., website traffic, social media engagement).

5. Email Marketing:

  • Develop and manage email marketing campaigns, including drafting content and segmenting email lists.
  • Track and analyze email marketing performance metrics.

6. Public Relations:

  • Assist in developing and distributing press releases and other PR materials.
  • Help coordinate media outreach and respond to media inquiries.

7. Administrative Support:

  • Maintain marketing databases and update customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining marketing materials inventory.

8. Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a marketing role or internship (preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with marketing software/tools (e.g., CRM, email marketing platforms, social media management tools).
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing strategies.
  • Creative thinking and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
