Job Description

The Production Employee is responsible for performing various tasks on the production line, ensuring that products are manufactured according to quality standards and production schedules. This role involves operating machinery, assembling products, maintaining a clean workspace, and adhering to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

1. Production Line Tasks:

• Operate machinery and equipment on the production line according to instructions.
• Assemble products or parts in accordance with quality standards and production goals.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications.
  
  

2. Material Handling:

• Load and unload materials, products, and parts onto or from pallets, skids, conveyors, or trucks.
• Move materials to appropriate workstations in a safe and efficient manner.
  
  

3. Maintenance and Cleaning:

• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe working environment.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any malfunctions to the supervisor.
  
  

4. Safety Compliance:

• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety guidelines.
  
  

5. Documentation and Reporting:

• Accurately complete production logs, quality reports, and other documentation as required.
• Report any issues or defects to the supervisor immediately.

6. Team Collaboration:

• Work effectively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and coworkers to ensure smooth operations.
  
  

7. Continuous Improvement:

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Suggest improvements to production processes and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot production machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
