Job Description

The Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, maintaining customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. This role involves direct interaction with customers to understand their needs, provide product information, and close sales. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

1. Prospecting and Lead Generation:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other lead generation methods.
  • Research and qualify potential leads to build a robust sales pipeline.

2. Sales Presentations and Demonstrations:

  • Conduct product/services presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Tailor sales pitches to meet the specific needs and interests of each customer.

3. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Provide ongoing support to customers, addressing their questions and concerns.

4. Sales Process Management:

  • Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to closing the sale.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with customers to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.

5. Sales Targets and Reporting:

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including forecasts and performance analysis.

6. Market and Product Knowledge:

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of company products and services to effectively address customer needs.

7. Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales strategies and promotional activities.
  • Work with other departments, to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Sales Representative or in a similar sales role.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
