The Production Operator maintains and monitors all production process systems, ensuring stable hydrocarbon output in compliance with operator production targets and HSE requirements. This role is fundamental to day-to-day production efficiency and requires the ability to respond rapidly and correctly to process upsets, equipment failures, and emergency situations on the offshore installation.

Responsibilities
Production Process Operations
- Operate and monitor production separators, treaters, compressors, and metering systems.
- Conduct well test operations and flowmeter validation activities.
- Execute startup and shutdown procedures for process equipment.
- Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems (corrosion inhibitor, demulsifier, scale inhibitor).
Integrity & Compliance
- Perform H2S monitoring and gas detection checks during all operations.
- Complete all operations under the PTW system with correct isolation and reinstatement.
- Maintain production records and shift handover documentation accurately.
Safety & Environmental Responsibilities
- Respond to production alarms and process upsets following emergency operating procedures.
- Maintain zero hydrocarbon discharge and report all spills immediately.
- Participate in HSSE inspections, toolbox talks, and safety observation programs.
Requirements
- Diploma or BSc in Process Technology, Chemical Engineering, or relevant technical field.
- Minimum 4 years of offshore production operations experience.
- OIMS or OPITO Production Operator certificate (preferred).
- PTW Authorized Person certification.
- H2S Awareness and escape set training (mandatory).
- Ability to read P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and operating procedures.
