Phase 1 · Pre-Arrival
Visa, Work Permit & Documentation
HCMS handles your full immigration process: work permit application with the Ministry of Justice, visa coordination, and all documentation submission. EU nationals typically process in 3–4 weeks; non-Schengen nationals in 6–8 weeks. Your ATLAS profile is created at this stage — you will receive login credentials and a document checklist via the app.
Phase 2 · Settlement Setup
Housing, Transport & Banking
Before you land, HCMS sources and secures your accommodation in Paramaribo (or near your project site), arranges your transport (vehicle rental or driver service), and prepares your bank account opening package. All coordinated through ATLAS — you can view your housing options, approve selections, and track progress from your phone.
Phase 3 · Arrival & Meet & Greet
Airport Pickup & First-Week Support
An HCMS representative meets you at Johan Adolf Pengel International Airport, assists with your hotel or accommodation check-in, provides a local SIM card, and guides you through your first-week orientation: bank account setup, local registration, project site introduction, and any family settlement needs.
Phase 4 · Ongoing Support
Payroll, Compliance & Concierge
For the duration of your assignment: HCMS manages your monthly payroll (including all Surinamese tax and social security obligations), monitors your work permit and visa expiry dates (automated 90/60/30/14-day alerts via ATLAS), and provides ongoing concierge support for lifestyle needs, family matters, and any operational issues.
Phase 5 · Departure
Demobilisation & Final Settlement
When your assignment ends, HCMS manages your departure: final payroll settlement, lease termination, vehicle return, tax clearance, and administrative closure. ATLAS provides a departure checklist so nothing is missed. Your HCMS profile and employment history remain on file for future assignments.
